Financial Crime Data Analyst

About the Role

BCB is seeking a Web3 Financial Crime Data Analyst to join their Data team and support the Financial Crime Operations team. You will be responsible for building and owning data analytics capabilities, serving as a critical bridge between data resources and operational teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and build robust data pipelines for Financial Crime Operations
• Conduct proactive analysis of complex datasets to identify fraud trends and hidden risks
• Lead transition from manual spreadsheet processes to scalable data environments
• Prepare datasets for AI and Large Language Model (LLM) consumption
• Build and maintain insightful dashboards and automated reporting
• Provide analytical support for Transaction Monitoring model calibration
• Serve as the primary subject matter expert on financial crime data

Requirements

• Extensive experience in data science, data analytics, or data engineering
• Preferably background in financial crime, risk, or compliance within payments, crypto, or banking sectors
• Strong proficiency in SQL and BigQuery
