OnChain Quant Researcher

About the Role

We're working with several crypto trading firms looking for researchers who can extract alpha from blockchain data.

Responsibilities

• Build data pipelines from on-chain sources
• Parse smart contract logs (EVM/Solana/Cosmos)
• Classify wallet addresses
• Transform blockchain data into tradeable signals
• Work closely with traders and quants to develop production-ready research

Requirements

• Strong Python skills
• Proficiency in SQL
• Comfort working with complex blockchain data
• Experience with node infrastructure (preferred)
• Familiarity with DeFi protocols (bonus)
• Exposure to Rust or Solidity (bonus)

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of on-chain data and blockchain ecosystems
• Experience in trading research (preferred but not essential)
• Independent research background or protocol-level experience
