The Role

Responsibilities

  • Develop, update, and maintain sophisticated financial models and valuation frameworks for our coverage universe
  • Prepare and contribute to research reports, earnings notes, and thematic pieces that influence institutional investors
  • Conduct comprehensive due diligence through management meetings, channel checks, on-chain analysis, and competitive intelligence
  • Analyze business models across cryptocurrency exchanges, blockchain infrastructure providers, mining operations, and digital asset platforms
  • Evaluate protocol economics, network metrics, regulatory developments, and market structure trends to assess investment implications
  • Engage directly with C-suite executives, investor relations teams, and collaborate with institutional sales and trading desks
  • Monitor macroeconomic factors, capital flows, and institutional adoption trends impacting publicly-traded digital asset companies
  • Perform other tasks and duties as required and assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university; preferably in computer science, engineering, economics, finance, or related quantitative fields
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in financial services, preferably with exposure to technology or digital asset sectors
  • Active Series 86/87 Licenses preferred
  • Strong understanding of blockchain technology, cryptocurrency markets, and digital asset ecosystems
  • Advanced Excel skills and superb quantitative capabilities
  • Exceptionally strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for institutional investors
  • Proven ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Self-starter who excels working both autonomously and within team settings
  • Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and ability to prioritize effectively with minimal direction
  • Passion for emerging technologies and the future of decentralized finance
